The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the Pribilof Islands Aleut Community of St. Paul (Pribilof) to remove and dispose of an R22 central refrigeration system currently installed at the Aleut Community Store on St. Paul Island, AK, and replace it with a new energy efficient system. A secondary heat recovery unit would also be installed in order to supplement building heat. Energy impacts/outcomes would be monitored by an energy auditor for one (1) year after installation.
