The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Boston University to develop self-cleaning solar mirrors and solar panels with the application of transparent, electrodynamic screen (EDS) for near-continuous dust removal from solar collector surfaces. A previous, final NEPA Determination (GFO-0007119-001; CXs A9, B3.6, B3.11; 09/18/15) reviewed all project activities. Since that time, changes have been made to the Statement of Project Objectives (SOPO). This NEPA Determination is to review these minor SOPO changes and to include updated language into the award contract involving DOE NEPA requirements for proposed international activities.
