In this SNOPR, DOE is combining the June 2015 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for new and amended energy conservation standards for residential conventional ovens with the new energy conservation standards for conventional cooking tops as well as aligning the compliance dates for both product categories. DOE has determined that the amended energy conservation standards for these products would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified. These proposed standards, if adopted, would apply to all products listed in Table I.1 and manufactured in, or imported into, the United States on or after the date three years after the publication of any final rule for this rulemaking.
