The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Iowa State University of Science and Technology (Iowa State) to facilitate widespread deployment of Hexcrete towers for harvesting wind energy at 120 and 140 meter hub heights and reduce Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) through research and testing of concrete tower technology.
