The project will install forty-five reclosers across three counties in Pennsylvania (Cambria, Indiana, and Westmoreland) that will benefit 8,638 customers. The reclosers will provide real time visibility into REA’s system during outages, rather than relying on phone calls from businesses and residents. This will result in faster restoration times during outages and fewer outage events.
