CX-035141: Kosciusko Forward: Enhancing Power Reliability Through Substation Modernization

On SR 35, the project will construct circuit improvements that include the installation of 12 steel poles with concrete pads, high-capacity Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) conductor, and new 15 kV switches. On North Natchez Street, improvements will include 18 steel poles with concrete pads, ACSR conductor, new 15 kV switches, and capacitors. The addition of reactive power devices will provide greater stability under peak loading conditions and reduce line losses. On North Huntington Street, upgrades will include eight steel poles with concrete pads, ACSR conductor, electronic reclosers with appurtenances, 15 kV switches, and both fixed and switched capacitor banks. On Adams Street, the project will strengthen the feeder by installing steel poles with concrete pads, ACSR conductors, and new 15 kV switches. On SR 12, circuit improvements will include the installation of an electronic recloser, a new 15 kV switch, and associated appurtenances.
