On June 8, 2025, the Fermilab Fire Department (FFD) was dispatched to Lab A for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA). Upon investigation, crews discovered a broken sprinkler pipe in the mechanical room, which resulted in water discharge and accumulation, including in the High Bay area. FFD personnel located the source and shut down the leak.
