The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to TPI Composites, Inc (TPI) to develop and test an optimized layup, infusion and cure process for wind blade manufacturing. Award activities would include infusion and cure of composites samples using tabletop infusion and process monitoring, which would occur at TPI’s physical science laboratory in Warren, RI.
