Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), proposes to conduct “danger tree” management along its Mary’s Lake-East Portal (MLA-EP) 69-kV Transmission Line. “Danger tree” management will be conducted within WAPA’s right-of-way (ROW) in Larimer County, Colorado, between the Mary’s Lake Metering Station and East Portal. The MLA-EP 69-kV Transmission Line lies on private lands. This work is a component of WAPA’s vegetation management program, which is intended to secure and maintain a manageable and stable ROW that minimizes vegetative threats to transmission system safety, security, and reliability.
