This proposed action is to design and construction of a new warehouse facility at the Specific Manufacturing Capability (SMC). The approximate footprint is 17,250 square feet. The building will be a steel framed, metal clad, metal roofed type placed on a slab-on-grade foundation. The building will be electrically heated and will have a single uni-sex bathroom. The facility will be named TAN-1617. The new warehouse will be located inside the fence at Specific Manufacturing Capability to the south east of the Specific Manufacturing Capability hangar of the SMC hanger. The work scope involves excavation for foundations and footings and the use of gravel from INL gravel pits to support asphalt placement.
