Western Area Power Administration proposes to replace two damaged wood single pole structures along its Green Mountain - Blue Ridge Repeater Transmission Line, located in Summit County, Colorado. Structures 3/11 and 3/12 on the distribution line were damaged by lightning and have contributed to a continuous outage at the Blue Ridge Communication Facility. This damage has forced the onsite communication system to rely solely on the backup power supported by the battery bank and the backup generator.
