Western Area Power Administration proposes to conduct "danger tree" management along its Kiowa Creek - Fort Morgan West 115-kilovolt Transmission Line, located in Morgan County, Colorado. The transmission line segment is approximately 15.3 miles-in-length and is located 15-miles to the west of the City of Fort Morgan to the Kiowa Creek Substation. Electrical safety and reliability standards require that this vegetation be removed to avoid hazardous situations and disruption of electrical service.
