Push 10 Cone Penetrometer Tests down to lower part of Lower Aquifer Zone, and collect water samples in the saturated zone at various intervals. Samples to be analyzed for tritium and volatile organic compounds. Two objectives: (1) determine the degree of tritium contamination in groundwater in vicinity of E Area Low-level Waste Facility Engineered Trenches #1 & #2. (2) Determine depth distribution of trichloroethylene and volatile organic compound contamination in groundwater along the north side of Slit Trenches 1-4 and 11.
