Savannah River National Laboratory will investigate the potential to hydrothermally synthesize feldspathoid functionalized with quaternary ammonium cation. If successful, this preliminary dataset will serve as the basis for a full laboratory directed research and development proposal geared toward the use of this material for trace metals remediation (Tc-99, I-129) in the environment.
