As a risk management initiative, the capability to tie-in a portable air-cooled chiller unit to the existing Chilled Water System piping will be established. The Chilled Water piping contains two 6-inch tie-in points, with isolation valves, and blind flanges. It is necessary to modify these tie-ins to accept 6-inche hoses, and a means of balancing flow delivered by the portable chiller. The subject final configuration report provides the design for one set of tie-ins.
