Solid Waste Management Facility has approximately 500 concrete culverts which are approximately 8 ft. high by 7 ft. in diameter. The culverts which have a radiological history can not be cleared and must be disposed of via the trenches. In order to save space in the trench areas, Solid Waste Management Facility has carefully cracked and collapsed the culverts to save space in the waste disposal areas.
