Waste immobilization research to support Hanford’s Effluent Management Facility (EMF) will be performed at the Aiken County Technology Laboratory (ACTL). Simulants will be formulated and immobilized into cementitious waste forms. Characterization of waste forms will be performed at Aiken County Technology Lab (ACTL), Savannah River National Lab (SRNL), and other off site labs as needed.
