Algae is causing an elevated pH in the F & H cooling water basins during the summer months. SRR is planning to control algae growth at the Effluent Treatment Project (ETP) Facility's F & H cooling water basins by performing maintenance with the addition of a biological digester which will remove organic matter. This will be followed by the addition of a floating cover.
