Oregon State University proposes to establish a round robin test plan for supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO2) corrosion testing and the organization of an S-CO2 Materials Group to guide future materials testing directions. This proposal relates S-CO2 corrosion data to existing industrial supercritical steam corrosion data by performing identical tests in both environments and comparing corrosion rates and mechanisms.
