The proposed action involves placing the National Synchrotron Light Source facility at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, New York in a long-term safe configuration. Activities include disconnected power to major components, transferring usable equipment to NSLS II, and removal of hazardous materials. Some of the equipment is owned by other institutions and will be returned to its owner.
