Savannah River National Laboratory will investigate and/or develop an incombustible coating material(s) for application after gross decontamination has been completed to fix residual contamination and prevent its release in the event of fire. A parallel effort will be to investigate commercially available strippable coating materials that can meet operational incombustible requirements.
