The Alternative Chemical Cleaning (ACC) program involves evaluations of actual waste sludge solubility in various chemical cleaning reagents. The MCU Oxalate and Aluminate Solubility testing program focuses on the solubility of sodium oxalate and Al species in actual MCU process solutions. Archived or new actual SRS radioactive samples from the SRS waste tanks or the MCU facility will be used for testing.
