Purdue University proposes to analytically investigation the behavior and strength of modular steel-plate composite (SC) slabs and floor systems, analytically investigate the behavior and performance of SC structures subjected to impulsive loading including blast effects, experimentally verify the findings of analytical investigations, and develop design recommendations and guidelines for SC slabs and for SC structures subjected to impulsive loading.
