The proposed design modifications will be in accordance with MT-KL-2014-00004 which primarily consists of adding back flow prevention to the suction side of the Electric & Diesel fire pumps in order to prevent “air binding” of the pump. In addition, the subject MT reviews the need for pressure protection with respect to NFPA & Site codes/Standards. There are no environmental or regulatory/ permitting needs anticipated with the proposed activity.
