In 2013, Western Area Power Administration (Western) Maintenance crews responded to an emergency involving a downed conductor along the Curecanti-Lost Canyon (CCI-LCN) 230-Kilovolt Transmission Line that had fallen across Colorado Highway 145. Crews immediately repaired the downed conductor between Structures 43/2 and 43/3. Western is proposing to reconductor the remaining phases of the transmission line along the spans between Structures 43/2 to 43/3, 47/4 to 47/3, and 47/3 to 47/2.
