The Energy and Environmental Research Center will conduct characterization of data and modeling of a tight oil formation to better assess and predict the carbon dioxide storage capacity of such a formation. This categorical exclusion (CX) approval covers administration activities and bench-scale and lab work only during Phase II-A; no field work is approved. Phase II-B not covered under this CX will field pilot test; field location is to be determined.
