The purpose of this project is to build a temperature-controlled garage for the purpose of housing four Alignment Group vehicles that contain high precision instrumentation. This action would involve excavation to build a foundation for the garage, and the final footprint of the building and covered walkway for the Particle Physics Division Outback Garage would be approximately 1,800 square feet but cover less than 1 acre.
