The scope of this categorical exclusion is bench scale Biosafety level-1 (BSL-1) and BSL-2 research in laboratories on the Argonne site. The proposed research would be restricted to that which has been determined by the Argonne Institutional Biosafety Committee to be unambiguously BSL-1 or -2 and within the respective work scopes.
