A treatability study will be performed in the Savannah River National Laboratory 773-A Shielded Cells with tank sludge typical of Savannah River Remediation return material to test filtering capability through a 0.45 micron filter unit, appropriate drying procedures at temperatures from 40 to 100 degrees Celsius, as well as compatibility of various packaging materials for sludge and crushed glass.
