Use of NIST traceable viscosity standards and water to functionally validate the performance of the RV20/M5 roto-viscometer in B111. Viscosity standards are a mixture of mineral oil and mixed hydrocarbons. MSDS 12117 is attached and provides a disposal path in a clean environment. Once functional checked and verified operable, the RV20/M5 roto-viscometer is used to measure the rheological properties of radioactive samples that can be processed in B111.
