The Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth intents to award a portion of its State Energy Program (SEP) - Clean Energy Advanced Manufacturing Phase 3 Green Chemistry allocation to KTM Industries, Incorporated 5597 West Grand River Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48906. This award will enable KTM Industries ramp up manufacturing capacity in support of a business plan to enter the green products building insulation market and increase market share within other bio-products markets. Specifically, SEP American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding will be used to purchase the new dies, conveyer/rollers, trimmer, and wrapper enabling efficient production of wider foam boards as well as provide for technical advising on installation and testing of the new equipment. KTM's current 20,000 square foot facility has the capacity to meet the expected increase in manufacturing volume.
