Minnesota State Energy Office will give $10,000 to Nate Dalager who installed a 7 ton geothermal system with horizontal heat exchange piping. Total excavation was approximately 120 feet wide by 50 feet long by 9 feet deep. No deforesting was required. The surrounding area is cultivated farmland. There were no adverse effects to threatened and endangered species or critical habitat as these resources are not present at the project site.
