Xunlight Corporation proposes to use federal funding to manufacture on a large scale high-efficiency lightweight, flexible solar cells. Most photovoltaic cells are heavy and require significant labor and hardware for mounting on rooftops. These new systems that have been developed on a small scale will allow for ease of installation and enhance the performance of a solar photovoltaic system.
