Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Acquisition of technical services for development of an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy (completed), 2) design and installation of a 150-ton, closed-loop, vertical ground source heat pump heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system for the Municipal Building which includes a bore field consisting of approximately 60 boreholes?the bore field will be located under an area currently used as a parking lot and the parking lot will be upgraded and resurfaced once installation is complete, and 3) development and execution of an energy efficiency and conservation program for the Municipal Building.
