The State of Texas will provide $4,198,800 to the City of El Paso Water Utilities Board to construct and operate a combined heat and power (CHP) facility in each of its three waste water treatment plants. The project will capture methane gas from the plant's treatment operations to generate electricity and provide heat for the plant's operations.
