Engineering Development Laboratory (EDL) will produce sludge simulants that contain hazardous materials and are sufficiently resistant to acid dissolution to appropriately represent Savannah River Site sludges based on recipes provided for F and H area Tanks (Reference EEC No. TC-W-2009-070). EDL will produce about 50 gallons of each of the three sludges and ship some to AREVA in Lynchburg, Virginia for additional testing. An additional 50 gallons of the blend simulant will be produced by EDL for delivery to Savannah River Remediation.
