The Organized Village of Kasaan proposes to use Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) funds to pay for the incremental cost of "Energy Star" building materials, appliances and fixtures for its soon to be built Tribal Office. The EECBG grant funds would pay for the difference in cost for upgrading from less energy efficient materials and appliances in the current construction contract to energy efficient materials and appliances.
