The Hydroelectric Efficiency Improvement Incentives (Section 243 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005) provide incentive payments to the owners or authorized operators of hydroelectric facilities at existing dams for capital improvements directly related to improving facility efficiency by at least three percent.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. ET, June 20, 2023 and must be submitted through the Clean Energy Infrastructure Funding Opportunity eXCHANGE.
