As we approach the end of the MLEF Summer 2021 program, allow us to share the best moments of this year’s program.

We welcomed 54 undergraduate and graduate students representing 44 universities from 20 states and Puerto Rico. The participants gained hands-on research and development experience under the mentorship of world-class scientists, researchers and program managers.

Here is a breakdown of what’s happening with the program:

  1. FECM Welcomes the 2021 MLEF Summer Fellows

We kicked off the summer on June 7th with a two-day event welcoming our summer fellows. Acting Assistant Secretary Dr. Jennifer Wilcox welcomed the fellows, wishing them a future of personal and professional growth.

  4. 2021 MLEF Technical Forum

From August 9 to 13, the MLEF summer fellows will wrap up their research projects and present their hard work to faculty, friends and family. The presentations will span over several days, and registration is required for each day. See the full agenda here.
