For nearly a decade, the home performance industry has had the option to join two online communities—Home Energy Pros and the Home Performance Forum—to collaborate and discuss topics such as energy efficiency, building science, and professional education opportunities. Home Energy Pros is a partnership between Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Home Energy Magazine that began in 2010 with sponsorship from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The Home Performance Forum was a community that started on LinkedIn in 2008 and is now hosted by the Home Performance Coalition.

This October, the Home Performance Coalition is bringing these two groups together to create a single online community for the home performance and weatherization industry—the Home Energy Pros Forum. Current members can continue to sign in using their existing credentials, and all legacy content will remain in place. Check out the new forum.
