NNSA published a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register announcing the availability of the final Surplus Plutonium Disposition Program Environmental Impact Statement.

Today the National Nuclear Security Administration announced the FY 2023 results of the performance of its Managing and Operating (M&O) partners in meeting NNSA’s performance expectations.

DOE/NNSA and cooperating agencies will hold a public meeting Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, from 4-7 pm, regarding the LANL Electrical Power Capacity Upgrade Project Draft Environmental Assessment, and will hold a second public comment period for the document.

This week, senior representatives of NNSA, the Cabinet Office of Japan, and the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea signed a Trilateral Framework on cooperation in science and innovation.

As part of its efforts to demonstrate transparency about its work, in late November NNSA welcomed 13 non-governmental experts on arms control and nonproliferation to its Nevada facilities, including parts of the Nevada National Security Site.

NNSA released the Stockpile Stewardship and Management Plan for Fiscal Year 2024.

NNSA has announced the availability and comment period for the Los Alamos National Laboratory Electrical Power Capacity Upgrade Project Draft Environmental Assessment.
