T-Mobile USA, Inc. (“T-Mobile”) hereby submits these reply comments in response to the above-captioned Request for Information (“RFI”)1 issued by the Department of Energy (“DOE”). T-Mobile appreciates the opportunity to submit reply comments and commends the DOE for undertaking a comprehensive examination of the communications requirements necessary to deploy smart grid technology so consumers can experience the full breath of benefits that smart grid can offer, including environmental, public safety, economic growth and expanded broadband into unserved areas.
