Today, DOE announced the team from University of Maryland, Baltimore County as the national winner of its 2019 CyberForce Competition™.

DOE announces the contract awards for the Congressionally-mandated sale of crude oil from the SPR.
Secretary Perry was briefed by senior DOE officials about emergency preparedness underway for Hurricane Dorian.

The awards, totaling $30 million, will fund National Laboratory and partner cybersecurity research, development, integration, and demonstrations.

DOE plans to draw down and sell crude oil from three SPR sites—Bryan Mound and Big Hill in Texas, and West Hackberry in Louisiana.
