The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s solar, buildings, and vehicles offices will present an informational webinar on April 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. ET, discussing the newly announced $4.5 million Educational Materials for Professional Organizations Working on Efficiency and Renewable Energy Developments (EMPOWERED) funding program.
The goal of this program is to help first responders, safety officials, and building managers and owners—professionals on the front lines of distributed energy resource adoption—stay up to date with rapidly advancing energy technologies that will help them continue to do their jobs safely and effectively.
Concept papers, which are required for a full application, are due May 5, 2020, and must be submitted through EERE Exchange.
