WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will speak at the Shale Insight 2020 Conference. He will speak about the evolution of U.S. energy and the growing consumption demands the U.S. is currently facing, while highlighting notable DOE investments in areas such as petrochemicals, manufacturing, power generation, and refinery revitalization. He will also address why fossil fuels remain a key reliable energy source for the foreseeable future and the importance of Marcellus Shale produced natural gas. 

Secretary Brouillette will be joined by other leading energy officials and executives who will also speak about the positive impacts of natural gas development in America. The conference begins on Tuesday, September 29, and concludes on Thursday, October 1.
