Secretary Perry to Visit Poland

Secretary Perry travels to Warsaw, Poland, for a series of events to discuss regional energy issues.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Secretary Perry will depart for Warsaw, Poland for a series of events to discuss regional energy issues with government officials and energy stakeholders operating in the region.

In Warsaw on Saturday, he will participate in an industry roundtable alongside Ambassador Mosbacher and U.S. industry representatives to discuss commercial opportunities in the region. Secretary Perry will then engage in the second U.S.-Poland Strategic Dialogue on Energy with Minister Naimski, following up on their last meeting in March. Secretary Perry will join Minister Naimski and Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Danyliuk for a U.S.-Poland-Ukraine Trilateral Energy Cooperation dialogue. This will focus on regional security of natural gas supply.

Secretary Perry will attend the 80th Anniversary of the Start of WWII Commemoration Ceremony on Sunday alongside Vice President Pence, President Duda of Poland, and President Steinmeier of Germany.
