Secretary Perry and DOE Leadership to Host Fourth Innovation XLab Summit

This Summit will focus on Artificial Intelligence and highlight the recently premiered Artificial Intelligence and Technology Office.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – From October 2-3, 2019, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will host the InnovationXLab Artificial Intelligence Summit in Chicago, Illinois. The Secretary designed InnovationXLab to connect the private sector with the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) National Laboratories. This Summit will focus on Artificial Intelligence and highlight the recently premiered Artificial Intelligence and Technology Office.

Secretary Perry will give the opening keynote address on October 2, 2019. The following DOE senior leadership will also be participating in the Artificial Intelligence Summit:

  • Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette
  • Under Secretary of Energy Mark W. Menezes
  • Under Secretary for Science Paul Dabbar
  • DOE Chief Commercialization Officer Conner Prochaska
