WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, April 15, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will host a virtual conversation with Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm and members of the trucking industry about how new funding for sustainable transportation solutions will help reduce emissions to achieve the Biden Administration’s goal of a net-zero economy by 2050.

The virtual event will feature conversations between Secretary Granholm, DOE leadership and members of the trucking industry, as well as visuals and testimony from drivers showcasing how new technologies are saving energy and benefitting American workers.
