July 11, 2017WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry will travel to Mexico City on Thursday, July 13, 2017 to meet with President of Mexico Enrique Pena Nieto and Mexico’s Secretary of Energy Pedro Joaquin Coldwell. Both Secretary Perry and Secretary Joaquin Coldwell will provide brief remarks on Thursday.
During this visit, they will discuss the great strides being made in Mexican energy reform, and will highlight the longstanding energy partnership between the U.S. and Mexico. Having received the Good Neighbor Award from the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce earlier this year, Secretary Perry and DOE remain committed to maintaining and strengthening this partnership.
