WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, October 13, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will visit Solena at The Vineyards in Charlotte, North Carolina to make a “Connected Communities” grant announcement. Connected Communities help America improve grid reliability, increase energy efficiency, and power demand flexibility, as well as integrate renewable power sources and improve environmental performance.

During the visit, the Secretary will also tour an energy efficient home with employees from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
